What’s the best way to bury the past with my former marriage? Is marriage relationship coaching what I need?

A woman named Helen from Ohio came to me and asked about letting herself forgive her Ex so she could get past the pain in her life. Helen really desires to attract a love that will not only last a long time, but one that will also grow in intimacy. Many understand that question. They can relate to the pain they’re holding on to from a past failed relationship. Coaching for your relationship, whether it’s past or present can help. Before you read any further, you need to congratulate yourself for actually DESIRING to forgive your ex. That’s big. If you will set your energy to give away a tiny piece every day, within a very small amount of time you’ll see your energy lift and lighten. It’s a necessity to release even for those who don’t think there’s any more left to forgive. Forgiveness is an ongoing process and one that releases YOU the most. Another good exercise is to choose some thoughts that you love about your previous relationship. These things don’t have to be related to the relationship. Perhaps you liked the way he fixed things. Or you appreciated what a tightly knit group of friends he has. Maybe you loved his smile. It can be anything. The point is to begin to search for things that you liked. You do this for no other reason than to shift your energy about him. You release your intentions.

When you forgive you create space. Space to receive more of what’s desired. And for all of us, what’s wanted is to receive more love.
